| Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, numerous, semi-immersed, with a slightly raised thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1–3 (–4) mm long, 0.3–0.5 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised, sometimes with the base almost closed. Hymenium (100–) 125–150 (–175) µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 1 per ascus, densely muriform, 75–120 × 20–32 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
